Hello fellow Goans. I am Melwin Pereira, staying in Electronic City Bangalore, but from Orlim Salcete Goa. This is in south Goa. But I have something in me is of north Goa also, as my wife is from St Cruz Tiswadi. I am blessed with two lovely daughters who are 11 and 15 years old. I am a Bangalorean by domicile but Goan at heart. After 15 years in the Material Handling industry in Bombay and Bangalore, I promoted a small industry in Peenya in 1990 and retired in 2022. My wife and I are blessed with three children and three grandchildren. Not inclined to “ride into the sunset”, I am delighted to serve on this passionate and energetic Committee. A teacher by profession and an Active KGA member for 33 yrs. I'm God Fearing, disciplined and compassionate with a strong desire to help others and treat everyone fairly. I enjoy social activities, making friends, dancing, travelling and being amidst nature. Engaging in Adventures land and water sports is also my passion. I’m Gilmour Saluzinho Fernandes, and it’s an honour to serve on the KGA Managing Committee again. I’ve been part of the KGA family for 15+ years, contributing through dance performances and by conceptualising and choreographing events like KGA Carnivals and Mango Showers. Born and raised in Kuwait, with roots in Siolim, Goa, I work in Quality & Metrics at Visual Data Media Services. Dance has been my lifelong passion and brought me to my wife, Steffi.
